Experience
I am a registered dietitian and licensed nutritionist in my home state of Florida. I completed my studies at Florida International University in Miami, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and Nutrition, earning a place on the dean's list.
During my time at FIU, I had the privilege of being selected for the highly competitive coordinated program. This program provided me with invaluable supervised practice opportunities in collaboration with FIU, Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, and various community agencies and nonprofits across different rotations.

Since 2012, I have been working as a pediatric dietitian in a special needs primary care clinic. In my role, I focus on designing and implementing customized feeding plans that cater to the unique needs of my patients and their families. I collaborate closely with their primary care physicians and other relevant specialists to conduct nutrition assessments and interventions, including enteral and oral feeding management, meal planning, nutrition counseling, grocery shopping plans, coordination with external agencies like WIC and public schools, and direct counseling and planning for older children and teenagers as appropriate.
Through my experience in this exceptional program, I realized that many children could benefit from the services I provide in my day job, but unfortunately lack access to the necessary resources.
Motivated by this realization, I am actively working with both Medicaid Sunshine State Health Plan and Ambetter via Rebel Nutrition here and privately insured adults and children via my partnership with Nourish, here.
